Interim Site

The Olympic Interim Site will be the temporary home for Pacific Middle School for two years, starting September 2025. It is located at 615 South 200th Street in Des Moines, across the street from North Hill Elementary School. See more photos below.
The Olympic Interim Site was renovated in 2018. It was home to Highline High School during its construction phase and has hosted Tyee High School from 2023-2025. This temporary move will allow a new school building to be constructed at Pacific with funding from the bond approved by Highline voters in November 2022.
The Olympic Interim Site continues to be home to Maritime High School, part of our Schools of Choice program. Maritime will continue at the Olympic Site during the 2025-26 school year. While classroom spaces and bell schedules are separate, similar to the arrangement with Tyee, there may be additional opportunities for Pacific students and families to observe the Maritime learning program prior to entering the high school choice process.
We want you to feel comfortable and at home while Pacific Middle School is located at our interim site. Read answers to questions you may have and see photos of the Olympic Interim Site.
