Principal
Vanessa Banner has been principal at Pacific Middle School since 2017. Before coming to Pacific, Vanessa was principal of Technology, Engineering and Communications High School in Highline.
Before that, she served as an assistant principal in Tacoma Public Schools. She taught language arts and social studies and served as language arts department chair, athletic director and AVID site coordinator in Tacoma schools.
Vanessa holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Washington and a masters’ in teaching from The Evergreen State College. Her principal certification is from Pacific Lutheran University.
